How onMission Giving Works at the bridge

Mission at the bridge is supported financially through the generosity of the bridge community. As part of our regular giving opportunities, the bridge community is able to give money directly to the onMission budget. This is done either by indicating the amount designated for mission on an offering envelope or by designating an amount via direct giving. Mission support at the bridge falls outside of regular tithes and offerings and relies on people willing to give above and beyond to support mission activity.

Locally, the onMission budget supports the mission activities of life groups and the work of local agencies like the Markham Food Bank and Centre for Dreams as well as a local missionary who works with women caught in the sex trafficking industry in Toronto. Globally, the onMission budget supports emergency relief needs resulting from natural disasters, wars, and famine. It also supports members of the bridge community who participate in short-term mission projects and supports the work of missionaries and organizations with whom we partner in Haiti, Sri Lanka, South Africa, and Armenia.
