We journey through relational environments where authentic community and spiritual formation take place. To fulfill our mission, we have created three environments (Guest, Friend, Family) that will help people take steps on their journey toward authentic community and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our GUEST environment is the first step where people are welcomed, and it is our goal to make people feel comfortable enough to return. We want our guests to come back, so we do everything with them in mind. Our goal is to change people’s minds about church because they have discovered something different but not “weird”.
Most people will experience the bridge for the first time as a guest at one of our three weekend worship services. These opportunities serve as the perfect place to introduce newcomers to the life of the bridge. Each area of our church also have their own guest environments: children have Kidzone age specific ministries, Jr. High has The Vibe, High School has Fearless, and young adults have Something Else.
Once guests arrive and are welcomed and feel comfortable, they may be ready to take a step towards connecting with others. The FRIEND environment is the next step where people can connect in a casual setting and offers the opportunity to begin new friendships. There are numerous opportunities for people to connect. You can grab a coffee before and after services in the hub café. Located in the Atrium, this is a bright and casual atmosphere to connect for a relaxing conversation.
To learn about the bridge and explore the opportunity of membership we offer our Gateway orientation class throughout the year. Life Central events are crafted with fun entertainment and food as a casual setting to meet new people in your same stage of life. “en route” groups offer different short term small groups where people journey in a conversational environment. It’s a safe place where people can explore faith and gain support for life issues and begin to experience community at the bridge.
The FAMILY environment is the type of atmosphere where your friends and family love to hang out. In your home, it’s usually in your kitchen. That’s the kind of environment we are striving for in our Life Groups. These groups consist of eight to twelve individuals who meet regularly in someone’s home. This is a safe place to open your heart and share your feelings. It’s a safe place to ask tough questions. This is where lasting friendships are made. It’s about commitment and strength and security. And we want to help you get there. Life Groups are not exclusive, or for members only. Anyone can enter into a Life Group, at any time, whenever you are ready to take this step.
The latest news about all of these opportunities to connect in these environments are communicated during our weekend services and through our website.
