Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund
Our hearts have been moved by the unbelievable destruction in Haiti due to the earthquake. We want to share in their suffering through prayer and also through financial aid. the bridge has made the decision to channel our funds through Christian Blind Mission. We chose this organization based on the following:
• CBM has 30 years of experience working in Haiti
• Existing long-term partnerships with Grace Children's Hospital and the University
Hospital in Port-Au-Prince
• Other long-term ministry partnerships that extend both within the capital and the
surrounding countryside
• The work of CBM will continue after the relief and rebuilding process has
finished for those who need long-term care and support
• Financial gifts designated for Haiti relief given through the bridge to CBM will
be receiving matching funds from the Canadian government (until February 12)
that will be designated to the government's Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund
• Strong relationship within the people at the bridge
Through CBM, $55 will provide the medical care, food, water, clothing, etc to sustain a family for 15 days and $300 will cover the cost of major surgery for a survivor.
$16,272.20 has been given to CBM thanks to your generosity! If you wish to continue to give, you can do that directly through CBM (click on the logo to the right).
