It doesn’t really matter what your personality is, and regardless of your age, race, gender, temperament, or past history, we all need the companionship of other people, because more than any other creature, we are tremendously relational and have an incredible hunger for community and significance.
This desire to be known, loved, valued and accepted was placed there by God.
We were created with a “community gene” - so to speak — an inborn, intentional, inescapable part of what it means to be human. It’s for this reason that we, at the bridge, believe so strongly in the power and purpose of meeting together in small groups where the benefits of biblical community are genuinely lived out.
