Christmas Cheer is our way of caring for our community by preparing and delivering Christmas hampers to individuals and families who may need encouragement and support during the holiday season.
Christmas Cheer is more than just a hamper. Each hamper is a tangible expression of God’s love and an opportunity to reach out to our neighbours, remind them that they are seen and cared for, and share the hope, comfort, and joy of Jesus during Christmas.
Through this ministry, we partner with community partners and organizations such as Flow Without Bounds, RISE Support Centre, Rehab Ministry, and Prison Fellowship to meet practical needs, build meaningful connections, and bring encouragement to those who may be walking through a difficult season.
Last year, we reached out to 100 families in our community. This year, we hope to prepare hampers to bless 150 families and individuals. We invite our church family to come together and share God’s love through this meaningful ministry.

What is Christmas Cheer?

There are several ways you can be part of Christmas Cheer:
Option 1: Sponsor a Family or Individual
Prepare a Christmas hamper for a family or individual in need. You can sign up by selecting the family size you would like to support. Once your application is processed, we will provide you with the details of the assigned family or individual, along with instructions on how to prepare the hamper.
This is also a wonderful opportunity for families, LifeGroups, or friends to serve together and share the joy of giving during the Christmas season!
After you have prepared your hamper, we will collect it on the designated collection dates before delivering it to the recipient.

Option 2: Help with Hamper Delivery
You can join us in delivering Christmas hampers, whether or not you helped prepare a hamper. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with families and individuals in our community, show care and compassion, and share the hope and love of Jesus.
Delivery Date: Week of November 30
Option 3: Provide Financial Support
You can also support Christmas Cheer through financial giving. Your donation helps us prepare Christmas hampers and care for individuals and families in our community through this ministry. Any funds received beyond what is needed for the Christmas Cheer initiative may be directed to our Benevolent Fund, helping us continue to support individuals and families in need throughout the year.
